Methodology

How SalesX builds profitable Google Ads programs.

Google Ads only. Senior strategists only. Proprietary automation instead of tool fees. This is the operating system behind $1.4B+ in managed spend and five U.S. Search Awards.

Our philosophy

Depth beats breadth. Seniority beats scale. Output beats overhead.

01

Google Ads only

We do not run Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Amazon. Every strategist, analyst, and automation engineer lives inside the Google Ads ecosystem — Search, Shopping, PMAX, Display, Video, and Remarketing. That singular focus is why we hold Google Premier Partner status and why our accounts are usually among the most sophisticated a Google rep sees in a quarter.

02

Senior strategists only

Every client is led by a strategist with at least eight years of Google Ads experience. There is no junior handoff to an account coordinator who is learning on your budget. The person who builds the architecture also owns the P&L conversation.

03

Proprietary automation, not tool fees

The X-Vault is our private library of 17+ scripts and BigQuery connectors. We do not resell it as SaaS and we do not pass software licensing costs to you. The value shows up as lower wasted spend, faster testing cycles, and reporting that does not require a Looker Studio or Supermetrics subscription.

X-Vault day-to-day

Automation that protects budget, compounds winners, and removes guesswork.

Budget protection, 24/7

A single misconfigured bid rule can erase a six-figure monthly budget in hours. Our budget monitoring scripts run continuously against spend velocity, daily caps, and anomaly thresholds. When a campaign deviates from its expected trajectory, execution pauses automatically and a senior strategist is alerted before the damage is irreversible.

  • Real-time spend pacing against monthly and quarterly targets
  • Automated pause triggers for cost spikes, broken URLs, and tracking failures
  • Rollback logic that restores the last known-good state

Alpha / Beta structure

We organize accounts into proven Alpha campaigns and controlled Beta experiments. Alpha carries the stable, high-performing queries. Beta tests new themes, audiences, and bid strategies with limited exposure. When a Beta variant proves itself, it is promoted to Alpha and the cycle repeats. This is how we grow qualified volume without inflating the budget.

  • Search-query mining promotes converting terms into Alpha automatically
  • Beta budgets are capped until statistical significance is reached
  • Ad-group splitting keeps themes tight and Quality Score high

AI-powered creative testing

Creative decisions should rest on evidence, not opinions. Our GPT-integrated A/B testing engine generates responsive search and display variants, then runs them against incumbent winners until a statistically significant result emerges. We track RSA and RDA ad-strength scores, contender health, and close-variant performance so weak creative never runs on autopilot.

  • Headline and description variants produced at machine speed
  • Winners declared only after confidence thresholds are met
  • Pinning and asset coverage scored by script

BigQuery-backed reporting

We pipe Google Ads, CRM, and offline conversion data into BigQuery so reporting can be sliced by product line, region, margin tier, or any business label the CFO actually uses. No clunky dashboard licenses. No exporting CSVs from five tools. Board-ready numbers with full auditability.

  • MCC-level KPI rollups for portfolio visibility
  • Label-based performance reports tied to business units
  • Close-variant and categorized keyword database reporting

X-Audit process

A 400+ point diagnostic run by a senior strategist.

The X-Audit is not a generic pitch deck. It is real forensic work against your actual account, returning a prioritized findings deck within five business days.

Step 01

Scope & access

We sign an NDA, confirm your spend profile, and request read-only access. No data leaves your environment; our scripts query it in place.

Step 02

400+ checkpoint scan

The X-Audit Engine checks account structure, tracking integrity, bid strategy alignment, keyword health, creative performance, audience targeting, and conversion quality.

Step 03

Findings deck

You receive a deck with wasted-spend targets, structural issues, opportunity sizing by category, and a 30/60/90-day priority map.

Step 04

Strategy review

A senior strategist walks through the findings on a call and answers questions. If we are both a fit, the audit becomes the onboarding plan.

What the findings deck contains

  • Account structure score and cannibalization map
  • Tracking gaps and offline-conversion readiness
  • Wasted-spend estimate with dollar-value impact
  • CPA / ROAS lift model under three scenarios
  • Category-level value and opportunity map
  • 30/60/90-day execution roadmap
  • Creative, audience, and bid-strategy audit
  • Competitive impression-share and auction insights

CRM & offline conversion integration

Optimize for revenue, not just clicks.

High-value accounts rarely convert on the first click. The real signal lives in the CRM — closed-won revenue, sales-qualified leads, offline appointments, and lifetime value. We connect that signal back into Google Ads so the algorithm optimizes for what matters.

First-party data match

We use Google Click ID (GCLID) matching and BigQuery to tie CRM records back to the original ad, keyword, campaign, and audience. That turns opaque front-end metrics into attributable revenue.

Offline conversion import

Sales calls, in-person closes, and signed contracts are uploaded as offline conversions. This trains Smart Bidding on actual deal value, not proxy events like page views or form fills.

Lifetime value optimization

Where data is available, we feed customer LTV into the model so campaigns bid toward long-term value, not just one-time acquisition.

Revenue-grade reporting

Board reports show pipeline value, cost per SQL, and ROAS by product line or market — the same language the CFO and board use.

Fit criteria

We intentionally refuse accounts that we cannot materially improve.

SalesX is not a volume play. We take on a small number of engagements each quarter and only work with advertisers where our methodology can return meaningful value. That means saying no more often than yes.

Low-budget or low-intent accounts

Accounts spending under $50k per month do not generate enough data velocity for our automation layer to produce the returns we are accountable for. We recommend smaller advertisers work with specialized boutique firms or Google directly until they reach the threshold where our model becomes efficient.

Brand-awareness-only mandates

We manage media that must be measured against revenue, pipeline, or qualified leads. Campaigns with no conversion tracking, no CRM integration, and no appetite for measurement are not a fit. We do not optimize for impressions, reach, or share of voice as a primary goal.

This filter is why our case studies show repeatable outcomes. We do not accept a client unless we can confidently point to the specific levers we will pull and the expected value they will create.
